The Hockeytown Draft Party, presented by Bud Light, begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday with several fan-friendly activities, leading up to the live broadcast of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft on the massive Chevrolet Plaza video board starting at 7 p.m.
"The Red Wings are proud to partner with Bud Light to host the Hockeytown Draft Party this Thursday at Little Caesars Arena," said Ilitch Sports + Entertainment vice president of corporate partnership activation Molly Wurdack-Folt. "Our great fans have come to love this incredible event, joining together to welcome the newest draft pick into the organization, and we're excited to team up with Bud Light to make this year's Draft Party the biggest and best one yet."
The free ticketed event is open to fans of all ages and includes Red Wings alumni autograph signings, interactive games, unique photo opportunities, chances to win exciting prizes and music throughout the evening from Detroit's own DJ Myint and the Red Wings Drumline.
Red Wings personalities Daniella Bruce, Ken Kal and Art Regner will host a panel discussion with former defenseman Larry Murphy leading up to Detroit's first-round pick, and fans will get the inside scoop from Red Wings TV's Carley Johnston direct from the draft room floor at Montreal's Bell Centre.
Select concessions will be available for purchase, and fans 21 years of age and older can enjoy beer samplings from Anheuser-Busch.

Also during the Draft Party, fans can enjoy the in-person portion of the Little Caesars Arena Tent Sale, benefiting the Detroit Red Wings Foundation.
The Tent Sale will run online from July 7-9, but fans in attendance at Thursday's Hockeytown Draft Party can take advantage of exclusive, in-person Tent Sale specials on July 7 only, from 6-9:30 p.m.
Available Tent Sale items include autographed jerseys, pucks and photos from select Red Wings alumni, as well as Red Wings bobbleheads, Carhartt beanies and duffel bags and more.
Select Tent Sale items are available for as low as $1, including Red Wings photos and water bottles, fatheads, phone accessories, socks and more.

All proceeds from the Little Caesars Arena Tent Sale will benefit the Detroit Red Wings Foundation, which has worked tirelessly since 2006 to provide funds and resources to worthy causes that contribute to the growth of hockey.
