Detroit assigns Terry to Griffins
Roster now stands at 25 players

DETROIT - The Detroit Red Wings today assigned forward Chris Terry to the American Hockey League's Grand Rapids Griffins.
After finishing preseason play on Saturday in Toronto with a 3-3-3 record, the Red Wings' roster currently stands at 25 players: 14 forwards, nine defensemen and two goaltenders. Detroit will begin their 2019-20 regular-season schedule with back-to-back games on Saturday, Oct. 5 against the Nashville Predators prior to its home opener on Sunday, Oct. 6 versus the Dallas Stars.
