Canes to Deliver 500 Turkeys for Area Families

Team will distribute turkeys to Helping Hand Mission, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, Raleigh Rescue Mission and Urban Ministries of Wake County

RALEIGH, NC - Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team will deliver 500 turkeys to area families on Wednesday ahead of Thanksgiving. Team staff members will distribute the turkeys to Helping Hand Mission, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, Raleigh Rescue Mission and Urban Ministries of Wake County from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
