DETROIT -- The Detroit Red Wings will host the Boston Bruins for Kids Day, Presented by Chevrolet, on Sunday afternoon at Little Caesars Arena.

Puck drop between the Red Wings (29-27-9; 67 points) and Bruins (50-9-5; 105 points) is set for 1:30 p.m., with TV broadcast coverage airing exclusively on TNT. Ken Kal and Paul Woods will have the call on the Red Wings Radio Network (97.1 The Ticket in Detroit).
From Noon until the end of the first intermission on the Via concourse, there will be face painters, caricature artists and more family-friendly activities. Kids will help work nearly every game-day job throughout Sunday's matinee, and the Red Wings' social media channels will share original hockey-themed art made by children.

Sunday's game also marks the finale of a home-and-home back-to-back set between Detroit and Boston. On Saturday, the Red Wings took a 2-0 lead less than five minutes into the first period but allowed three goals from the Bruins over the final 40 minutes in an eventual 3-2 setback at TD Garden.
"We fed their offense a little bit," Moritz Seider said. "We just can't give their top lines time and space. That's what we did. Then, you see the outcome."
Seider added that he felt "momentum shifted" during the second period.
After Boston defenseman Hampus Lindholm cut his club's deficit, 2-1, at 12:43 of the frame, captain Dylan Larkin appeared to extend Detroit's lead just 45 seconds later.
However, Larkin's goal was waved off after he was called for interference. The Bruins scored the equalizer on the ensuing power play.
"That's a tough swing there," Larkin said. "You think we go up, 3-1, and they call a penalty late. And not the ref that was close, it was called on the back side. They score on a penalty kill and it was a tough swing.
"But we responded well. We had a good third period, but we just came up short. It was really hard (Saturday), but I thought it was a good effort because we battled. We battled a lot out there and a lot was going against us."

Less than 24 hours later, the Red Wings have an opportunity to get back on track.
"I think there are phases where we have to elevate our game," Seider said. "If we do that (Sunday), then it will be an interesting game."
