Wings-Lose-Sharks

After battling back from an early deficit, the Detroit Red Wings couldn't hold onto their lead and fell, 3-2, in overtime to the San Jose Sharks at the SAP Center on Tuesday night.
Tyler Bertuzzi scored on a power play in the second period for his 17th goal of the season to surpass teammate Dylan Larkin for most on the team. The 26-year-old winger has scored five goals in his past five games.
Nick Leddy got one past Sharks goalie Adin Hill in the third period for his first goal of season and his first tally with the Red Wings.

Riley Barber, who was recalled from the club's taxi squad Tuesday afternoon, suffered a lower-body injury and was helped off the ice at 15:39 in the first period. He did not return to the game.
Goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic stopped 37 of 40 shots.
With the loss, the Wings took just two of the possible six points on their west coast road trip and fell to 16-16-5 overall, while the Sharks improved to 20-16-1 this season.
Tuesday's game was the second time the Red Wings and Sharks faced each other in the last seven days, with Detroit taking the first matchup against San Jose, 6-2, on Jan. 4 at Little Caesars Arena.
NEXT UP: The Red Wings look to snap their three-game skid on Thursday as they start a two-game homestand at Little Caesars Arena, beginning with the Winnipeg Jets for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop. Bally Sports Detroit and the Red Wings Radio Network will have the broadcast coverage.
