DET FLA Gameday

After a hard-fought loss against Tampa Bay on Friday, the Detroit Red Wings will take on the Florida Panthers less than 24 hours later to wrap up their weekend road trip from FLA Live Arena.
Saturday's game concludes the eighth back-to-back for Detroit this season. Puck drop is set for 6 p.m. and will be
televised exclusively on ESPN+ and Hulu
. Ken Kal and Paul Woods will have the call on the Red Wings Radio Network.

Red Wings goalie Alex Nedeljkovic stopped 35 of 37 shots in his third straight start on Friday, but Detroit was able to muster just one goal in the eventual 3-1 loss to the Lightning.
"We had a great effort tonight," Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin said after the game. "We just came up short. We can't keep coming up short. We gotta find ways to win games like this."
First and foremost, Red Wings coach Jeff Blashill would like his team to focus on getting pucks on net - something that prevented Detroit from generating quality chances against Tampa.
"Ultimately, it's probably trying to be too cute and trying to make that extra play," Blashill said. "We gotta make sure that we do a better job of getting those scoring areas. At the very least, have that mentality that we're going to shoot first then make a play second."
