DETROIT - The Detroit Red Wings today recalled left wing Ryan Kuffner, right wing Evgeny Svechnikov, defenseman Alex Biega and defenseman Oliwer Kaski from the American Hockey League's Grand Rapids Griffins. Additionally, the Red Wings placed left wing Andreas Athanasiou (retroactive to Sept. 20), center Frans Nielsen, defenseman Trevor Daley and defenseman Jonathan Ericsson on injured reserve and placed forwards Johan Franzen and Henrik Zetterberg on long-term injured reserve.

DETROIT - The Detroit Red Wings today assigned goaltender Kaden Fulcher to the ECHL's Toledo Walleye and released forwards Matthew Ford, Josh Kestner, Troy Loggins and Tyler Spezia; defensemen Marcus Crawford, Charle-Edouard D'Astous and Alec McCrea; and goaltender Pat Nagle from their tryouts. Ford, Loggins and McCrea are expected to report to the American Hockey League's Grand Rapids Griffins, while Crawford, D'Astous, Kestner, Nagle and Spezia will join Toledo.

DETROIT - The Detroit Red Wings today acquired forward Adam Erne from the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for Detroit's fourth-round pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. Erne, 24, posted career numbers during the 2018-19 season with the Lightning, recording personal bests in games played (65), goals (7) and assists (13) en route to reaching the 20-point plateau. He also finished third on the Lightning last season with 159 hits.

DETROIT - The Detroit Red Wings today announced the roster for their 2019 Development Camp, which will be held at the BELFOR Training Center inside Little Caesars Arena from Tuesday, June 25 to Saturday, June 29. The camp roster currently consists of 24 forwards, 15 defensemen and eight goaltenders.
