The Penguins return home to PPG Paints Arena to take on the Red Wings tonight at 7:00 PM ET. The game will be the sixth of seven preseason games for Pittsburgh.

The Penguins are playing their first game since returning from Halifax, NS, where they took on the Ottawa Senators. Pittsburgh has multiple ties to Nova Scotia: captain Sidney Crosby, a native of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, defenseman Ryan Graves, who grew up in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, a coastal town that is roughly a three-hour drive from Halifax, guest coach Kori Cheverie is also a native of Nova Scotia, and Penguins Strength and Conditioning Coach Alexi Pianosi is a native of Halifax.
