Coyotes Sign Gross to Entry-Level Contract

GLENDALE, ARIZONA -- Arizona Coyotes President of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have signed defenseman Jordan Gross to a two-year entry-level contract. As per Club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

"Jordan was one of the top defensemen in the NCAA last year and we're thrilled to add him to our organization," said Chayka. "He's a mobile, puck-moving, right shot defenseman who is very smart. He will join a great group of young players that we now have in Arizona."

Coyotes Donate $250,000 to Phoenix Children's Hospital

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - The Arizona Coyotes announced today that the Arizona Coyotes Foundation has made a $250,000 donation to Phoenix Children's Hospital. The funds were raised over a three-year period and will be allocated towards the hospital's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. The new state-of-the-art building has allowed the hospital to expand the center and meet the demand for the growing number of patients they treat each year.

"On behalf of the Arizona Coyotes Foundation, we are thrilled to donate $250,000 to the Phoenix Children's Hospital," said Coyotes' Owner, Chairman and Governor Andrew Barroway. "PCH is a phenomenal hospital and we are very fortunate to have it here in the Valley. Their Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders is doing great work and we hope that this donation will help many children in the future."

Coyotes Assign Strome, Murphy, Mermis and Hanley to AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes President of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have assigned center Dylan Strome and defensemen Trevor Murphy, Dakota Mermis and Joel Hanley to the Tucson Roadrunners, the club's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate.

In 47 games with the Roadrunner this season, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound Strome registered 28-22-50 and 24 penalty minutes (PIM). The 21-year-old native of Mississauga, ON appeared in 21 games with the Coyotes in 2017-18, recording 4-5-9 and eight PIM.

"When we acquired Antti last summer, we believed that he had the talent and desire to become an elite starting goaltender and he certainly proved that this season.
