The Senators remain without defensemen Sanderson and Zub. Sanderson was injured in their season opener Oct. 3; Zub has yet to make his season debut. … Crotty, a defenseman, was placed on injured reserve Sunday, and Donovan was recalled from Belleville of the American Hockey League for defensive depth. … Evangelista did not participate in the morning skate because of an illness but is expected to play. Noesen was recalled from Utica of the AHL and the forward will play if Evangelista is unable. ... Brown was placed on injured reserve retroactive to Sept. 28 but the forward has been skating on his own and could make his season debut later this week.
