The Winnipeg Jets felt the need - the need for speed.
The Winnipeg Jets arrived at the 2026 Tim Hortons Heritage Classic at Princess Auto Stadium in ultra cool bomber jackets and aviator shades on Sunday.
Players walked into the outdoor game, set for puck drop at 7 p.m. ET, channeling their best "Top Gun" look, complete with white T-shirt and blue jeans.
The Jets bomber jackets had patches on the front and arms. The front featured pilot wings with a nameplate and a Jets logo on the right side with the Heritage Classic logo.
There's been a long-standing tradition of themed outfits for special NHL outdoor games and the Jets definitely didn't disappoint on Sunday.
In jackets like that, they can be our wingmen anytime.
