Miller Rejoins Red Wings

Detroit Visits Boston Tonight and Hosts Toronto Tomorrow Prior to All-Star Break

DETROIT - The Detroit Red Wings today recalled left wing Drew Miller from the American Hockey League's Grand Rapids Griffins.

Miller, 32, has recorded 106 points (56-50-106) in 483 games with the Red Wings since joining the team during the 2009-10 campaign. The 6-foot-2, 180-lb., forward has totaled 121 points (62-59-121) and 132 penalty minutes in 550 career NHL games with the Red Wings, Anaheim Ducks and Tampa Bay Lightning. Miller has also tallied 13 points (6-7-13) in 60 Stanley Cup playoff games, and helped the Anaheim Ducks to a Stanley Cup championship in 2007, skating in three games as a first-year pro. Miller has logged 34 games with the Red Wings this season, recording six points (5-1-6) and 14 penalty minutes.

DETROIT - The fierce in-state rivalry between the University of Michigan Wolverines and the Michigan State University Spartans continues with the "Duel in the D" at Joe Louis Arena on Friday, Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m., hosted by Olympia Entertainment. The annual clash will take place at Joe Louis Arena for the final time, in conjunction with the "Farewell Season at The Joe," before the rivalry matchup moves to Little Caesars Arena next season.

Parking altered for Red Wings home games coming up

Cobo Center Roof Deck and Cobo Center Parking Garage Closed for Red Wings home games on January 14, 16, 18 & 22 due to North American International Auto Show

DETROIT - Due to the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), traffic volumes will be increased in the downtown area and parking options will be altered for the Red Wings home games on January 14, 16, 18 and 22 at Joe Louis Arena.

The Cobo Center Roof Deck and the Cobo Center Parking Garage will be closed to Red Wings fans and colleagues for the next four home games taking place at The Joe in conjunction with the NAIAS at Cobo Center.

Red Wings fans can utilize the Joe Louis Arena Parking Garage (900 W. Jefferson) and the Riverfront Executive Lot (229 Steve Yzerman Dr.). Additionally, Joe Louis Arena can be accessed by Red Wings fans via the Detroit People Mover.

The following area bars also offer a park and shuttle service for Red Wings home games:

DETROIT - The Western Michigan Broncos claimed their third MacInnes Cup after defeating the Michigan Tech Huskies in overtime, 1-0, in the championship game of the 52nd annual Great Lakes Invitational on Friday night at Joe Louis Arena. Earlier in the day, Michigan defeated Michigan State, 5-4, in an overtime thriller to claim third place in the final GLI played at The Joe.
