Penguins Announce Plans for Opening Night Against the Arizona Coyotes

The Penguins will begin their 2022.23 season on Thursday, October 13

The Pittsburgh Penguins will begin their 2022-23 regular season presented by UPMC on Thursday, October 13 when they host the Arizona Coyotes in their home opener. Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM at PPG Paints Arena.

Doors open at 5:30 PM on Thursday, and fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 6:50 PM for pre-game player introductions. All fans in attendance will receive a magnetic schedule and a special Home Opener rally towel presented by UPMC.
The Penguins have gone 10-4-2 in 16 home openers since the NHL's longest tenured trio of Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang became teammates in 2006. Pittsburgh has an all-time record of 29-15-10 in home openers.
Single game tickets for the home opener are available starting at $49 a seat, and all 2022-23 home games are on sale now at pittsburghpenguins.com. In addition, full, half and quarter season plans are still available. Fans can click here to request additional information.
