Doors to the Little Caesars Arena Via concourse will open to ticketed guests at 3 p.m. The Red Wings Kids Club, presented by Michigan Education Savings Program, will feature a special "Kids Zone" including interactive hockey games, balloon artists, face painters, caricature artists and a magician on the street-level Via concourse. On the upper concourse, a "creation station" will be set up for kids to draw a picture of or write down the name of their favorite Red Wings player. Photo opportunities will also be available throughout Little Caesars Arena.
Kids will eat free with the purchase of an additional entrée at Mike's Pizza Bar, and a Kids Meal at concession locations will include a hot dog, soda, chips and trading cards.
Parents in attendance for Sunday's game are encouraged to sign their children up for the Red Wings Kids Club. New members will have the unique opportunity for a group photo on the Little Caesars Arena ice following the Red Wings-Sabres contest. Before and during the game, staff will be available at the Kids Club kiosk.
Leading up to Sunday's game, parents are encouraged to record a video of their child asking a question to their favorite Red Wings player. Those videos can be sent to the Red Wings on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook by using the hashtag #AskARedWing, and could be chosen to be played on the center hung video board or on the team's social media channels. Please keep the length of videos to 20 seconds or less.
The first 2,500 kids in attendance will receive a tin lunch box, presented by the Michigan Education Savings Program (MESP).
