Due to the high volume of requests we receive and the popularity of our team, we are unable to provide tickets or suites as donation items.
Due to the overwhelming amount of requests received each month and a limited inventory, the Wings must limit requests to in-state organizations and those located in neighboring Windsor, ON, and Toledo, OH.
The Red Wings are unable to make monetary donations, purchase program ads, buy tables at banquets, sponsor a hole at a golf outing, etc. Each month the Community Relations department is besieged with requests for monetary donations and, unfortunately, must turn them down as our resources simply do not allow us to grant such requests. Although we cannot provide you with a monetary donation, please keep the Detroit Red Wings in mind should your organization ever need an auction or raffle item for a future fundraising event.
Since the Wings receive thousands of requests each year, it is impossible for the Community Relations department to respond individually to confirm receipt of each request. The Wings will send something in the mail at least one week prior to your event with either an autographed item or a letter explaining why your request was denied. Please be patient!
The Detroit Red Wings do not accept outside items to be autographed. Any unsolicited items will be returned to the sender unsigned. We do not accept responsibility for any items mailed to us.
The Wings are unable to donate autographed memorabilia to for-profit company programs and initiatives, including employee appreciation events, employee incentives, holiday parties, etc.
Unfortunately, due to the number of requests we receive, we require and need a 60 day time frame to fulfill all donation requests. Any requests submitted without the necessary sixty day notice will be denied. We appreciate your understanding and hope you will consider involving the Red Wings in your future fundraising activities.
In order to fulfill as many requests as possible, the Community Relations department must limit one item donation per organization per calendar year. You are welcome to submit a donation request for an event at the start of the next calendar year. Due to this policy, we suggest that you determine which event you would prefer an autographed item from the Wings before submitting your request.
