The Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers, and Comerica Bank have teamed up to recognize highly decorated Game Changers in their respective fields who have significantly impacted young people, businesspeople, and others throughout their careers. The stories of local Game Changers are shared across both Tigers and Red Wings platforms throughout the year.

The Detroit Red Wings believe Hockey is for Everyone. On the ice, in the locker room and in our community, hockey welcomes all. Throughout the year, the Red Wings use their powerful platform to celebrate and elevate communities currently underrepresented in hockey.

Hockey Fights Cancer is an initiative founded in December 1998 by the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players' Association to raise money and awareness for hockey's most important fight. Detroit Red Wings players, fans and staff raise thousands of dollars toward supporting pediatric cancer research in partnership with Comerica Bank each November.

The Detroit Red Wings and Kroger are proud to honor the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces. In addition to hosting the annual Military Appreciation Night, both active and veteran service members are recognized at every home game for their service and sacrifice to our community and country through our Salute to Service, presented by Kroger, Military Recognition.

The Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers and Meijer team up each year to deliver the Hometown Holiday Assist for children in our community. Children from organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan, Clark Park Coalition, and Downtown Boxing Gym have experienced this unique event located within The District Detroit.
