To get you set for these games we've provided a quick preview/recap of the game. Obviously, the Penguins won each game and we've all seen them before. So, we tried to highlight some stuff that you may not remember, or other interesting aspects of the game that may have gone under the radar in the grand scheme of things. What to watch for: 2017 Stanley Cup Final (Game 5)

SETUP:The Penguins returned to Pittsburgh for this game with the series even at 2-2 after dropping both contests in Nashville. While it wasn't the ideal situation, the Penguins felt good about how they played in the 4-1 loss in Game 4, saying it was their most consistent effort of the series based on the looks they got and chances they generated. "If we continue to do that, it's going to give us a really good chance to win games," Sidney Crosby said.
SUMMARY:The Pens responded with an absolutely dominant performance from top to bottom. Every facet of their game was clicking. As Mike Sullivan said afterward, "That was hands down the best game that we've played in the series to this point."
Unlike Games 1 and 2, they didn't need to rely on their quick-strike offense to win - though they still put up a six-spot and chased Pekka Rinne from the net yet again. They were strong defensively, limiting the Predators to just 24 shots and hardly any scoring chances, and won the special teams battle. The Pens felt good about their game heading back to Nashville.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
FIRST PERIOD
20:00: Sullivan reunited Crosby with Jake Guentzel and Conor Sheary for this game, and my goodness, just watch the first shift by this group. 'Sid and the Kids' set the tone from the drop of the puck. On a quick transition, Guentzel hit Crosby in stride at the blue line. He dekes right between Preds defensemen Ryan Ellis and Roman Josi and manages to get a shot off the post as he's being dragged to the ice - sending Pittsburgh to the power penalty just 50 seconds in.
18:29: GOAL! SCHULTZ! This was huge for a couple of reasons. First, it ensured the Pens got off to a strong start in front of their fans. Second, the Pens had really been struggling with the man-advantage this series. Heading into this power play, they were just 1-for-16 in the Final, with their only other goal coming in Game 1. So, this was huge for their confidence in that regard.
The Preds got an early clear to start their penalty kill, but the Pens quickly regained the zone on a smooth entry. For those of you watching from home, just sit back and marvel at this puck movement. Eventually Schultz got open at the center blue line and banged his stick for a pass. He teed up a shot that went between Austin Watson's legs and through the five-hole of Rinne. There wasn't even any traffic in front, Schultz had a wide-open shooting line. Just a beautiful shot.

15:22: Crosby capitalizes after Rinne misplays a puck behind his own net, which was uncharacteristic of the Preds netminder. While the Pens didn't score, that kickstarted another incredible shift from that line. From there, the Pens kept surging and the crowd was going.
13:17: GOAL! RUST! This starts with Trevor Daley banking a pass off the glass to Chris Kunitz circling through the neutral zone. He pulls up just slightly and finds Rust with a perfect pass, who snipes a backhand into the top far corner. Love Rust saying "LET'S GOOO" as he high-fives the Pens bench.
12:04: Ian Cole gets absolutely crushed by James Neal as he tries to clear the zone, which results in his attempt getting intercepted. Neal ends up with a couple of scoring chances on Matt Murray, but he stands tall. The Preds followed that up with a good shift, their first good one of the game. It had been all Pens to this point. Looking back on it, this was virtually Nashville's only real sign of life during the game.
1:48: Crosby hits Subban behind the net and they get tangled up. Subban won't let him go, so Crosby was giving him some noogies, for lack of a better term. I laughed out loud at Eddie Olczyk quipping, "I wonder how the breath was on this play." Subban then got Crosby in a headlock and finally, play is stopped. They both get holding calls and the teams go 4-on-4. Peter Laviolette is losing his mind on the Preds bench.
:10.2: GOAL! MALKIN! From behind his own net, Evgeni Malkin fires a pass up to Phil Kessel at the red line. He carries in while being defended by Viktor Arvidsson, who is a forward, and his Preds teammates get caught puck-watching. At that point, Malkin comes out of nowhere, gets a pass and rips in over Rinne's left shoulder for a 3-0 lead.
SECOND PERIOD
20:00: Juuse Saros leads the Preds onto the ice for the second. Rinne was pulled after allowing three goals on 10 shots in the first. PPG Paints Arena truly was a house of horrors for Rinne, who was also pulled in Game 2.
18:59: Just watch this zone entry from Crosby. He carries in protecting the puck with one hand through a sea of Predators. Unreal.

18:41: GOAL! SHEARY! On his 25th birthday! What I love about this play is that even though Sheary had just been stopped a few seconds earlier, he didn't lose focus. Crosby picked up the rebound from that attempt and carried into the corner with the Preds caught puck-watching again. Sheary knew that Crosby would find him, and sure enough, he did with an incredible backhand feed to Sheary, who puts it in. Olczyk said he thought Sheary might be shocked at how open he was, but I doubt that. When Crosby is going like that, teams tend to get mesmerized by him.
11:58: GOAL! KESSEL! Olli Maatta pushed the puck up to Crosby, who had just changed for Malkin, then jumped into the play and got a pass back. As he gained the zone, Kessel banged his stick on the ice telling him he wanted it, so Maatta obliged. Maatta and Wilson both went to the net while Kessel skated into the slot and scored, snapping a six-game goalless drought.
Sidenote: As NBC was going through the replays following the goal, they pointed out that someone on the Penguins bench accidentally tossed a water bottle onto the ice. Turns out it was Crosby who had the butterfingers. He wasn't happy that Kunitz got slashed behind the play and as he gestured angrily, the water bottle slipped out of his hand. There's a shot of Crosby telling an official he didn't mean to do it. Luckily no harm, no foul.
11:32: "We want the Cup! We want the Cup!"
3:31: Get ready - this was the highlight of the entire series. Feast your eyes on Bobby Orr Ron Hainsey as he goes coast-to-coast for an unbelievable goal. First he sidesteps both James Neal and Mike Fisher charging at him, sending them crashing into each other. He then carries up the ice, gains the zone, dishes to Kessel and heads to the net, where…
3:20: …GOAL! HAINSEY! Malkin sends a backhand feed through Subban's legs to Hainsey for the tap-in. The whole play is just filthy from start to finish. And it leads to a big 6-0 advantage.
THIRD PERIOD
17:29: Carter Rowney gets in on the forecheck to start a good shift for the fourth line. The Pens were using Patric Hornqvist and Carl Hagelin on that line in this game. What a luxury.
16:19: Pontus Aberg goes down easily and Rust is called for tripping a few seconds later. Watch the Pens just shut it down on this penalty kill. They didn't give the Preds anything.
8:28: Chaos ensues after Josi throws an elbow into Hornqvist, who takes exception. Subban pulls him away so then they get into it, while Malkin takes over with Josi. Not to be left out, Arvidsson comes in hot on his countryman Hagelin. Pittsburgh ends up with a power play and Sullivan isn't taking any chances, sending Kunitz, Rust and Matt Cullen out with Schultz and Brian Dumoulin.
4:24: "We want the Cup!"
:33.3: Maatta gets cross-checked in the face by Colton Sissons, who ends up with a five-minute major. His Pens teammates come to his defense.
:00: Cue the horn. "Ladies and gentlemen, Elvis has just left the building." Murray earns a 24-save shutout and the Pens have the chance to win the Stanley Cup in Game 6 at Nashville.
