Pens to Hold 'Superhero Theme Night' On Thursday, December 6 vs. NYI

Seventeen costumed "Superheroes," including Spiderman, Superman, Batman and Captain America, will be roaming throughout PPG Paints Arena on Thursday, December 6 when the Penguins hold "Superhero Theme Night" against the New York Islanders. Game time is 7 p.m.
In-arena host Celina Pompeani will be dressed as "Wonder Woman," the Orr's Jewelers Ice Crew will be dressed as "Batman" and "Batwoman" characters and Iceburgh will be dressed as "Super Iceburgh" to add to the festivities.

Fans are encouraged to wear their own superhero costumes (although masks must be removed while entering the arena, and no weapon props are permitted).
Penguins jerseys will be given away to the best-dressed fans (one per period).
The cover of the game program, IceTime, will look like the "Daily Planet" from the Superman series, and there will be special in-game content throughout the evening.
There also will be several unique photo opportunities for fans, including;
- Wonder Woman's Invisible Plane - flying above the Highmark Gate - Invisible Man - on location in the Highmark Wall of Champions Hallway - A Green Screen Photo Set - in the Highmark Wall of Champions Hallway behind Section 110 - Two superheroes will be available during each intermission in the Highmark Kids' Zone and at the Green Screen Photo Set
