DETROIT -The Detroit Red Wings will host their 10th annual Military Appreciation Night, presented by BELFOR Property Restoration, on Saturday, Nov. 11, when the team takes on the Columbus Blue Jackets at 7:00 p.m. (FOX Sports Detroit & 97.1 The Ticket) on Veterans Day.

More than 100 active and former military members selected by Volunteers of America Michigan and Selfridge Air National Guard Base will experience the game as guests of BELFOR Property Restoration and the Red Wings. Additionally, the first 5,000 fans in attendance for Saturday's game will receive a red, white and blue Military Appreciation Baseball Hat, courtesy of the Detroit Red Wings.
Fans will also have an opportunity to support Volunteers of America Michigan through an online auction of camouflage player-used Red Wings Military Appreciation equipment and the purchase of exclusive Red Wings branded water bottles at the team store and on the concourse of Little Caesars Arena near Portal 8 for $25 each. Proceeds from fundraising efforts will provide maintenance and upgrades to facilities that deliver vital services and housing for homeless veterans throughout southeastern Michigan.

VIP TEAM PRACTICE EXPERIENCE & LUNCHEON
Prior to the game, the Red Wings will host more than 100 active and former military members for a VIP experience at Little Caesars Arena during the team's morning practice session at 10:30 a.m. After practice, guests will enjoy lunch in the Comerica Bank Players Club and meet & greet opportunities with select Red Wings players. Each guest also receives a special Salute to Service fan package. For the game, the Red Wings will provide tickets to more than 100 active and former military members to experience Military Appreciation Night at Little Caesars Arena.
HONORARY PUCK DROP CAPTAIN
BRIGADIER GENERAL JOHN D. SLOCUM
Brigadier General John D. Slocum is the Commander, 127th Wing at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. The 127th Wing is home to 1,700 citizen-Airmen, as well the host to all branches of the military and numerous Department of Homeland Security organizations. Nearly 4,500 Active, Guard and Reserve, and civilian personnel call Selfridge ANGB home. This year, Selfridge celebrates 100 years of service to our nation and community.
MILITARY APPRECIATION BASEBALL HAT GIVEAWAY
The first 5,000 fans attending Saturday's game will receive a red, white and blue Military Appreciation Baseball Hat featuring an American flag and Red Wings logo on the front panel, courtesy of the Detroit Red Wings. Guests can pick up their baseball hats from distribution booths located at the four entrances to Little Caesars Arena.

RED WINGS CAMOUFLAGE EQUIPMENT ONLINE AUCTION
Red Wings players will don Military Appreciation camouflage jerseys and use camouflage-taped hockey sticks during pregame warm-ups on Saturday. The jerseys and sticks will then be auctioned at

DETROIT RED WINGS MILITARY-THEMED WATER BOTTLE SALE
In support of Volunteers of America Michigan, fans can purchase a limited number of stainless-steel water bottles featuring the Red Wings logo. The water bottles are available for purchase at the Red Wings team store throughout the month of November and on the concourse of Little Caesars Arena near Portal 8 on Military Appreciation Night, while supplies last. The water bottles are $25 each with proceeds benefiting Volunteers of America Michigan to provide maintenance and upgrades to facilities that deliver vital services and housing for homeless veterans throughout southeastern Michigan. Representatives from Volunteers of America Michigan will also be present to provide fans with more information on how to support their veteran services programs.
DETROIT RED WINGS FOUNDATION 50/50 CHARITY RAFFLE
Fans can purchase Detroit Red Wings Foundation 50/50 Charity Raffle, presented by Michigan First Credit Union, tickets from sellers or kiosks throughout Little Caesars Arena. Each winner receives 50 percent of the jackpot, with the remaining proceeds benefiting the Detroit Red Wings Foundation, Little Caesars Amateur Hockey League and Volunteers of America Michigan. New this season, along with cash, credit cards will now be accepted for raffle ticket purchases of $20 or more.
SALUTE TO SERVICE MOMENT
During the second television timeout of the first period, all service men and women in attendance will be recognized in-arena and encouraged to stand and be honored for their service to our country.
PRE AND IN-GAME EXPERIENCES
Pre-selected active and former military members attending the game will enjoy many of the one-of-a-kind game day experiences at Little Caesars Arena, including Zamboni rides, pregame penalty box visits and in-game contests.
COLOR GUARD
The U.S. Marine Corps., will present the Colors during the National Anthem.
MICHIGAN WARRIORS HOCKEY PROGRAM
Volunteers from the Michigan Warriors Hockey Program will be stationed on the concourse to provide information on their organization. The Michigan Warriors Hockey Program (MWHP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created for charitable and recreational activities, namely, providing an educational and developmental hockey program for Disabled Veterans and to participate in volunteer community services. MILITARY VEHICLES ON DISPLAY IN CHEVROLET PLAZA
A military High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) will be on display starting at 4:30 p.m., in conjunction with the pregame party in Chevrolet Plaza featuring music, games and more - all free and open to the public. Fans will be able to see the "Humvee" up close in Chevrolet Plaza and take photos with the all-terrain vehicle.
