The Pittsburgh Penguins will proudly honor our military veterans with a special Veterans Day celebration at Saturday's game against Chicago at PPG Paints Arena (7 p.m.)

Among the highlights:
- Penguins players will honor veterans and active troops by wearing special black-and-green camouflage jerseys in the pre-game warmup. The jerseys will then be autographed and auctioned online, with proceeds benefitting the Veterans Leadership Program of Western Pennsylvania. The auction will begin on Saturday at 6 p.m. and conclude on November 15 at noon. Fans can text PENSJERSEY to 52182 or visit PENSJERSEY.givesmart.com to place bids. - Ten veterans from the Veterans Leadership Program (and their guests) will watch Saturday's game from a party suite, courtesy of the Penguins and the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation. - In addition, Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin are donating their charity suites to veterans from the Veterans Leadership Program and their families. - A very special guest will be 102-year-old Melva Simon of Mt. Pleasant Township, who served with the Navy WAVES auxiliary service during World War II. Melva follows the Penguins on radio but has never attended a game in person. - Fans are encouraged to visit the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum exhibit that will be located in the Highmark Hallway on game night. The display will feature uniforms and memorabilia from World War II. - The Penguins will hold a symbolic empty "Seat of Honor" in memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and those who continue to serve our country. The seat will be located in Section 116, Row X, Seat 11. - There will be a special Veterans Day-themed opening video. The United States Marine Corps color guard will present the flag. - And much more!
