Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Zach Trotman has undergone successful knee surgery, it was announced today by general manager and executive vice president Jim Rutherford.
Trotman, 30, had surgery on his right knee Thursday to repair a torn meniscus. The surgery was performed by Dr. Hans Olsen in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
The defenseman is expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks.
