Registration set to begin for Sidney Crosby's 'Little Penguins' program

A new 'Learn to Play Dek Hockey' program will be available as well

Registration begins on Tuesday, February 13 for Sidney Crosby's unique Little Penguins "Learn to Play Hockey" program.

It is the second of two sessions this season that will enable 2,000 local youngsters aged 4-9 to receive FREE head-to-toe hockey equipment and learn the basics of the game at participating area rinks.

Malkin captured the NHL's 'First Star' of the week honor for the first week of February today after scoring six times and adding a pair of assists for eight points in three games last week.

Evgeni Malkin Named NHL's First Star for January

Evgeni Malkin's strong start to 2018 earned him the NHL's First Star of the month for January.

Malkin led all players in the league with 12 goals, three more than second-place Patrice Bergeron. Malkin's 12 goals equaled the highest single-month total of his career (also January 2012 and January 2008). Malkin's 19 points (12G-7A) were second in the league, only trailing teammate Sidney Crosby (3G-18A-21PTS).
