Penguins Announce 2018-19 Regular-Season Schedule

Pens open with a three-game homestand that features games against Stanley Cup Final combatants Washington and Vegas

Pittsburgh Penguins' fans will have the opportunity to see the 2018 Stanley Cup Final combatants in the opening week of the 2018-19 regular season, as the Washington Capitals and Vegas Golden Knights are two of the three teams the Pens will host during their season-opening three-game homestand.

After welcoming the Capitals on opening night, Thursday, October 4 at PPG Paints Arena, the Penguins will then host the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, October 6, and the Golden Knights on Thursday, October 11. All three games will begin at 7:00 PM. The three-game homestand ties for the Pens' longest of the season.

Penguins Own Six Selections in the 2018 NHL Draft on Friday and Saturday

This year's NHL Draft will take place this Friday and Saturday, June 22-23, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. The Pittsburgh Penguins own six choices, beginning with their first pick, the 53rd-overall selection in the second round.

The Penguins will also select once in the third (64th overall), sixth (177th) and seventh round (208th), and twice in the fifth round (129th and 146th).

The initiatives are part of the Penguins Foundation's 'Operation Restore' program. KaBOOM! is the national nonprofit dedicated to play, and this community-driven design competition will make it easier for kids to play every day in unexpected places.

Penguins Re-Sign Forward Tobias Lindberg to a One-Year Contract

The two-way deal carries an average annual value of $650,000 at the NHL level.

Penguins Monitoring Prospect Jordy Bellerive Following Incident

The Pittsburgh Penguins have been in direct contact with prospect forward Jordy Bellerive since he was injured in an incident on Saturday night. Assistant general manager Bill Guerin has spoken with Bellerive, who is in good spirits and expected to make a full recovery.
