The Pittsburgh Penguins have activated goaltender Louis Domingue from injured reserve and re-assigned him to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by general manager Ron Hextall.

Domingue, 29, has appeared in one game with Pittsburgh this season, turning aside 40 of 41 shots in a 2-1 overtime win over San Jose on Jan. 15. He has also played in 10 games for the WBS Penguins this season, going 3-4-2 with a .918 save percentage and 2.69 goals-against average.
The 6-foot-3, 208-pound native of Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec has played 141 games in the NHL over the past seven seasons with Pittsburgh, Arizona, Tampa Bay, New Jersey, Vancouver and Calgary. Domingue has compiled a 59-59-10 record at the NHL level with a 3.04 goals-against average, .905 save percentage and two shutouts.
The Penguins return to action tomorrow night against the Florida Panthers at 7:00 PM at PPG Paints Arena.
