His season-opening 11-game road point streak is tied with teammate Evgeni Malkin (11 GP in 2008-09) for the longest such streak in franchise history. Ten of Guentzel's team-leading 13 goals have come on the road, ranking third in the league in that category (tied).
During his career-long 12-game point streak, which began on Nov. 13, Guentzel's 10 goals lead the league while his 16 points rank fourth (tied). His 12-game streak is the third-longest in the NHL this season, following Edmonton's Connor McDavid (17) and Anaheim's Troy Terry (16). The last Penguins player to record a longer point streak than Guentzel was Pascal Dupuis in 2011-12 (17 GP).
