The Penguins made the playoffs for 16 consecutive seasons from 2007-22. It had been the longest active streak in all of the major North American professional sports leagues, and no NHL team was more dominant over that stretch. In addition to their three Stanley Cups, Pittsburgh piled up 768 regular-season wins and 103 playoff victories.

The team is celebrating that incredible run by sharing some of the top moments from each round over the years. In addition to the video for Round 2, team reporter Michelle Crechiolo - who has been with the Penguins since the 2010-11 campaign - shares some of her own personal favorite memories that she's experienced during her time with the team, in written form.

Our favorite moments from the Stanley Cup Final.

Video: Our favorite moments from the Stanley Cup Final., I've really been looking forward to this last installment of our round-by-round reflections from the 16-year playoff streak.

I was a sophomore defenseman at Michigan State University when Pittsburgh and Detroit first met in the 2008 Stanley Cup Final. After the Red Wings took a 3-2 series lead, a few of us drove down to Joe Louis Arena for Game 6, as the team hosted a watch party for fans hoping to see their team lifting the Stanley Cup on the road at Civic Arena.

We watched all of that happen on the Jumbotron as confetti fell down around us, and it was quite the scene navigating through traffic out of the city following the win. We were playing Coldplay's Viva La Vida and everyone had their windows rolled down, cheering and yelling to each other.

Obviously, emotions in Detroit were on the other end of the spectrum the following year, when Pittsburgh won the rematch, and this time, Sidney Crosby hoisted the coveted trophy in our building. Here's what I remember most from that series:

Flower and I had a good laugh over that last one after I got hired by the Penguins, and quickly realized I had the completely wrong impression. I was so blown away by Fleury's delightful personality at my first-ever practice that I ended up writing Video: Our favorite moments from the Stanley Cup Final. about it.

Now that I'm on this side, and have been a part of another pair of back-to-back Stanley Cup Final appearances in 2016 and '17, picking my favorite moments feels impossible. But here's my best attempt - and I look forward to hearing all of yours!
