COACHING STAFF

Decorated American players Cammi Granato and Emily Matheson will be special guests behind the bench for the game. Granato was one of the first women to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2010 and is the current assistant general manager of the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League. Matheson was a member of the 2018 Team USA Olympic gold-medal-winning women's hockey team and was part of the original iteration of the PWHPA when it launched in 2019. Matt Leitner, a former NCAA and professional hockey player, who has coached Team Adidas (Minnesota) of the PWHPA for the last two seasons, will also be behind the American bench.
The Canadian bench will feature distinguished alumni Cassie Campbell-Pascall and Jayna Hefford as guest coaches. Campbell-Pascall is a two-time Olympic champion and the first woman to provide color commentary on Hockey Night in Canada. Hefford - who has four Olympic gold medals - was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2018 and currently serves as the PWHPA operations consultant. Laura McIntosh, who was a standout player in the NCAA for Ohio State, and a Clarkson Cup Champion in the CWHL, will round out the Canadian coaching staff. McIntosh has been a coach in the PWHPA for Team Sonnet (Toronto) for the last two seasons.

BROADCAST TEAM

The Rivalry Rematch broadcast team will feature a number of accomplished former female hockey players as well as some of the Penguins' own media personalities. Two-time Olympic gold medalist Cheryl Pounder will join the Penguins' own Steve Mears in the broadcast booth, while Olympic gold and silver medalist A.J. Mleczko will be reporting live in-between the benches. Two-time silver medalist Brianne McLaughlin will join the AT&T crew for intermission reports and Pens Inside Scoop team reporter Michelle Crechiolo will serve as a rinkside reporter.

RIVALRY REMATCH COMMUNITY INITIATIVES

Players from the U.S. and Canadian teams will participate in girls' youth hockey clinics prior to the game at PPG Paints Arena. The Penguins Foundation will be selling the books "I Can Play Too" a story by Cammi Granato and "As Fast As Her" by Kendall Coyne Schofield's books on the concourse. Fans who purchase books will be able to get them signed by the authors post-game. Other standouts from USA's roster will also be signing autographs post-game in the Highmark Hallway.
