Penguins Re-Assign Defenseman Josh Maniscalco to the Taxi Squad

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned defenseman Josh Maniscalco to the taxi squad, it was announced today by general manager Ron Hextall.

Goaltender Maxime Lagace has been re-assigned to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League.
Maniscalco, 22, is in his first professional season after signing with Pittsburgh as an undrafted free agent on August 21, 2020. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound defenseman has suited up for seven games with WBS this year and is a plus-2.
Prior to turning pro, the Perkiomenville, PA native appeared in 71 collegiate games with the Arizona State Sun Devils over the course of two seasons, where he tallied 52 points (15G-37A).
Pittsburgh faces the Washington Capitals for the eighth and final time in the regular season tonight at 7:00 PM at Capital One Arena.
