The Penguins and New York Rangers play Game 1 of Round One of the Stanley Cup Playoffs at Madison Square Garden. The Penguins went 1-3-0 against the Rangers in 2021-22. Each team shut out the other one once (1-0 PIT win on Feb. 26 and 3-0 NYR win on Apr. 7. Pittsburgh has a 19-14 all-time series record in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Penguins are 12-5 all-time in the postseason at Madison Square Garden.
