It will be Brayden Schenn's first game at Philadelphia against the Flyers since they traded him to the Blues on June 23. The forward had two shots on goal and was minus-1 in a 2-0 loss to the Flyers at St. Louis on Nov. 2.
Philadelphia will try to win consecutive games for the first time since winning six in a row Dec. 4-16. They defeated the New York Islanders 6-4 on Thursday.

Players to watch

Goaltender Jake Allen is expected to start for the Blues after Carter Hutton started the previous two. Allen is 1-6-0 with a 2.68 goals-against average and .913 save percentage in his past seven games.
Flyers forward Jakub Voracek leads the NHL with 40 assists and has 17 in his past 14 games.

Hutton is expected to start against the Washington Capitals on Sunday. … Weather prevented Goulbourne from making his NHL debut Thursday. He was in Toronto for a game with Lehigh Valley of the AHL but had four flights to Philadelphia canceled. He ended up flying to Baltimore on Thursday and driving to Philadelphia. … Elliott will make his 16th straight start, but that streak likely will end Sunday, when Neuvirth is expected to play against the Buffalo Sabres.
