Subban won't play in the Devils last two games of the season because the defenseman has not resumed skating in his recovery from COVID-19, which has kept him out of the lineup since April 20. ... Johnsson will return after missing the past six games with a lower-body injury and Wood will return after missing one game with an upper-body injury. They'll replace forwards Thompson and Studenic. … Siegenthaler will play for the first time since April 22, replacing Carrick, a defenseman. He missed eight games because of COVID-19. ... Eberle, Greene and Komarov are expected to return to the lineup after being scratched in the Islanders' 2-1 loss to the Devils on Thursday.
