With Teuvo Teravainen out after suffering a broken hand in Wednesday's Game 2 win, it appears that Jesse Puljujarvi could play in his first playoff game with the team. Puljujarvi had been the team's only healthy extra forward, but the team recalled Mackenzie MacEachern from Chicago (AHL) on Thursday morning.
As to whether Puljujarvi will go directly into Teravainen's spot, Brind'Amour said, "We're going to start a certain way, but I envision probably moving guys in and out of there as we go."
The team utilized a trio of Jack Drury, Sebastian Aho, and Seth Jarvis after Teravainen left Wednesday's third period, but the team has also experimented with Puljujarvi next to Aho as well. Which route they'll elect to take tonight is to be determined.
In net, the team will stick with Antti Raanta and Pyotr Kochetkov, the same two that dressed in the most recent contest.
Brind'Amour said that Frederik Andersen, who missed Wednesday night's affair due to an illness, could have dressed tonight. "If we need him next game, he'll be ready to go," the head coach continued.
