RALEIGH, NC - Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has recalled forward Mackenzie MacEachern from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League (AHL).

MacEachern, 29, has skated in five career NHL playoff games, all with St. Louis in 2020. He has also earned 16 points (8g, 8a) in 28 AHL postseason appearances and posted 13 points (6g, 7a) in 18 games with Springfield last season as the Thunderbirds advanced to the Calder Cup Final. The 6'2", 188-pound forward has tallied 19 points (11g, 8a) in 115 NHL regular-season games with the Blues since 2018-19. MacEachern registered 30 points (11g, 19a) in 37 AHL games with Chicago in 2022-23, giving him 92 points (43g, 49a) in 218 AHL regular-season games with Chicago, Springfield and San Antonio. Prior to turning professional, the Bloomfield Hills, Mich., native posted 68 points (33g, 35a) in 108 collegiate games at Michigan State from 2013-16 and was a USHL teammate of Hurricanes defenseman Jaccob Slavin with the Chicago Steel in 2012-13. MacEachern was selected by St. Louis in the third round, 67th overall, of the 2012 NHL Draft.
