Bio

Frederik Andersen Bio

For a goaltender who is 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, Andersen somehow flew under the NHL's scouting radar for several years, which is surprising considering he started out playing for Herning, the most successful team in the history of Denmark's top pro league.

In 2008-09, his first season with Herning, Andersen had a goals-against average of 2.45 in 22 games.
