THE SERIES THUS FAR...

NEWS & NOTES

Finding A Way To Put One Home:The Canes have totaled just three goals in three games thus far this series, with Panthers netminder Sergei Bobrovsky being the X-Factor. Posting a .978 save percentage, the 34-year-old has stopped 132/135 shots in 261 minutes of work.
Just A Bounce Away:Carolina is just the 22nd team in NHL history to lose each of its first three games in a series by one goal. Of that group, only six have lost a series by a total of four goals.
History Says...:Down 3-0 in a series for just the sixth time in franchise history, the Canes are 2-3 in Game 4 of those occasions.
Let's Make It Happen:Carolina hopes to become the fifth team in NHL history to win a best-of-seven series after trailing 3-0 (4-200 series record all-time), and the first team to accomplish the feat a in round before the Stanley Cup Final (0-46 series record all-time).

Steady Freddie:While Bobrovsky is getting the shine for his play this series, Frederik Andersen has been stellar for Carolina this postseason as well. His 1.58 goals against average (GAA) through his first eight playoff starts for the team only trails Cam Ward's 1.45 from 2006.
Defense Has Not Been A Problem:Carolina has never lost a playoff series while allowing fewer than 14 goals (2002 Stanley Cup Final vs. DET, 2021 Central Division Second Round vs. TBL, both 5 GP). Florida only has five through three games.
End It Tonight:Carolina has now lost 11 consecutive games in the conference finals round after winning the Stanley Cup in 2006.
