LOS ANGELES, CA. -While Rod Brind'Amour and staff have been known to stick with a winning lineup, it is possible that at least one change occurs for tonight's meeting against the Los Angeles Kings.
The team did not hold a morning skate on Saturday, but Friday evening the organization announced that forward Teuvo Teravainen had been activated off of injured reserve. The 28-year-old winger has missed 10 games due to an upper-body injury that he suffered on November 10, but his removal from IR suggests he is one step closer to getting back in game action. Should he not play tonight, he could draw in Tuesday in Anaheim. To err on the side of caution and to not speculate as to who might come out of the lineup if he does play, he is not listed below. It is unknown as to whether Antti Raanta or Pyotr Kochetkov is expected to be tonight's starter, however, should the team stay with their alternating schedule between the two, tonight would be Kochetkov's turn. The 23-year-old rookie entered in relief on Thursday night in St. Louis after Antti Raanta allowed three goals on 15 shots through the first 40 minutes. Kochetkov earned the victory after stopping 10 of 11 during the third period. Thus far this year the Penza, Russia-born netminder is 4-1-3 with just 17 goals allowed in eight games played. Brind'Amour is expected to speak to the media at approximately 8:15 p.m. EST and may provide more info on tonight's lineup then.
