Foligno, who played his first five NHL seasons with the Senators before being traded to Columbus on July 1, 2012, is in Boston to be with his 5-year old daughter, Milana, who has a scheduled surgical procedure. She was born with a congenital heart defect and Foligno missed the Nov. 17 game at the Carolina Hurricanes while she was hospitalized with a virus.
Anthony Duclair will move to Foligno's spot on the second line and Lukas Sedlak will play after being scratched the past five games. Columbus is 5-1-0 in its past six games.
The Senators will try to end a four-game losing streak (0-4-0). Goalie
Marcus Hogberg
will make his second NHL start after he made 21 saves in a 3-2 loss to the Washington Capitals on Saturday in his debut.
