Hall is out the next two games. The injury is not considered a long-term issue and Hall will be re-evaluated Wednesday, coach John Hynes said. Goaltender Cory Schneider will play after missing three games with an illness. Keith Kinkaid started the three previous games but injured his groin during the first period of a 3-1 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday. He was placed on injured reserve Sunday. The Red Wings have lost their past two games (0-2-0) and four of their past five (1-4-0).

Red Wings defenseman Joe Hicketts , 21, will make his NHL debut. Undrafted, Hicketts has eight points (two goals, six assists) in 43 games with Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League. Last season he led Grand Rapids defensemen with 34 points (seven goals, 27 assists). Devils forward Jesper Bratt scored his 12th goal in a 3-1 loss against the Flyers on Saturday. His 30 points are tied for fifth among NHL rookies.

Mrazek will play for the first time since making 27 saves in a 4-0 win against the Chicago Blackhawks on Jan. 14. ... Gibbons, who was injured blocking a shot in the second period Saturday, also was placed on injured reserve Sunday. Coleman will play after being was a healthy scratch the past three games.
