RALEIGH, N.C. - Mike Sundheim, Vice President of Communications for the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has partnered with WRAL to simulcast 10 Hurricanes Hockey Network game broadcasts over the air on WRAL and FOX 50 in the team’s home market. The package will begin on October 2 in conjunction with the launch of HHN before shifting to “Saturday Night Hockey on WRAL” from December through April.
“We are grateful to continue our partnership with WRAL and start what we hope will be a new tradition,” said Sundheim. “Saturday night Hurricanes games at Lenovo Center have always been special, and this package brings that feeling into the living rooms of even more fans.”

The full Hurricanes Hockey Network and WRAL simulcast schedule is below. Station assignments between WRAL and FOX 50 will be announced as they are confirmed. Additional over-the-air partners for the package from across the Hurricanes’ broadcast territory will be announced at a later date.
