2026-27 Broadcast Information

The most up-to-date information about how to watch the Canes on Hurricanes Hockey Network, catch national broadcasts, stream out-of-market games and more.

Last Time Out...

  • The Canes ran over the Canucks on Thursday night, earning a third straight victory with their 7-2 score.
  • Logan Stankoven recorded the first hat trick of his NHL career, and Sean Walker turned in a career-best four-assist evening.
  • Andrei Svechnikov struck for two of the power play's three goals and Pyotr Kochetkov moved to 2-0 in net with 18 saves.

Feelin' Hot, Hot, Hot...

  • After a pair of "lethargic" performances to start the season, the defending champs have turned it on and scored 13 goals in their last three games.
  • Paced by Sebastian Aho's four goals and four assists, which ranks him tied for fifth among all NHL skaters with his eight points, confidence is high after having shaken off the rust.

The Power Play...

  • Carolina's power play converted three times on Thursday, upping their total to seven goals in five games.
  • Thus far this season, only the Utah Mammoth (8) have had better early-season success.
  • Dating back to Dec. 5, 2025, the Canes have played 61 regular season games and lead the NHL with their 30.2% success rate on the man advantage.

In Net...

  • The Canes will need both goaltenders over the next two days, as they play again tomorrow in Philadelphia.
  • With Pyotr Kochetkov playing Thursday against Vancouver, Brandon Bussi will most likely get the assignment this evening. Victorious in his last outing, on Tuesday in Montreal, the second-year NHLer allowed three goals in the first period before settling nicely and giving up just one the rest of the way. He is now 1-1-1 this season.
  • If the Canes go back to Kochetkov, he's 2-0 in his two appearances, with wins over Philadelphia and Vancouver.

On The Other Side...

  • Chicago has struggled out of the gates, winning just one of its five games thus far. Notably, however, the team has played on home ice just once thus far, picking up its lone victory over the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday.
  • Some of that can be attributed to the loss of newly named captain Connor Bedard, who continues to recover from offseason shoulder surgery after leading the team in scoring in each of his three NHL campaigns.
  • In his stead, 2025 third-overall pick Anton Frondell has started strong with four points in five games. Coupled with other budding talent like Frank Nazar – who was issued a two-game suspension on Friday – and Sam Rinzel, as well as the return of franchise icon Patrick Kane, the Hawks have pieces to lean on as they look to take the next step in their rebuild.
