Colby Armstrong, Mike Rupp Join Pre-Game Radio Show

Former Penguins Colby Armstrong and Mike Rupp will join the Penguins radio team as pre-game analysts, the team announced today.
Either Armstrong or Rupp will work alongside host Josh Getzoff for all 82 pre-game shows on flagship station WXDX (105.9 The X) and the Penguins Radio Network.

The popular radio broadcast team of Hall of Famer Mike Lange and color commentator Phil Bourque will again call all the action during the 2016-17 season.
Bourque also will join Getzoff on the post-game show.
Reporters Sam Kasan and Michelle Crechiolo from Penguins Inside Scoop and pittsburghpenguins.com will file reports on both the pre- and post-game shows.
Armstrong will make his pre-game radio debut at the season opener Thursday, October 13 vs. Washington at PPG Paints Arena. Rupp will make his first pre-game radio appearance at the Monday, October 17 game vs. Colorado at PPG Paints Arena.
Both Armstrong and Rupp also will appear on ROOT Sports post-game TV shows. In addition, both have national broadcast responsibilities - Armstrong with Rogers Sportsnet in Canada and Rupp with the NHL Network.
