Rod Brind'Amourproviding his assessment of the contest...
"It was a good start. It enabled us to have an iffy rest of the game, to be quite honest. When you can get ahead you don't have to chase the game. We got into penalty trouble and that was what turned the game the other way. But Rants was really good. He kept us in there, we got the two points, and now we move on."
Antti Raantaspeaking on the team's now five-game win streak...
"When we got back from the bye week, the first game (the 6-2 loss to the Rangers) wasn't what we wanted. Since then we've just tried to stick to our game plan and it's been working pretty well... It's been nice being home again and having some games here."
Seth Jarvisdiscussing his recent hot streak and what's gone well for him...
"It's fun. It's nice. Even on the goal, I put one on net and other times it might have kicked to the corner, but this one kicked right back to me and I was able to score. Things like that have worked well for me. As a whole, I think my game, forechecking-wise, especially, has upped and that's resulted in me scoring."
