Canes to Deliver 450 Turkeys for Area Families

RALEIGH, NC - The Carolina Hurricanes will deliver 450 turkeys to area families on Wednesday ahead of the coming Thanksgiving holiday. Hurricanes alumni Erik Cole and Shane Willis will be on hand at Helping Hand Mission in Raleigh at 11:30 a.m. to join team staff members in distributing the turkeys.

This marks the seventh year of the Hurricanes' Thanksgiving partnership with Helping Hand Mission. Contributions for the turkeys came from the Hurricanes' Tickets for Turkeys campaign, through which a portion of every ticket sold went toward the purchase of turkeys.
