RALEIGH, NC - FOX Sports Carolinas and the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes today announced that 81 of the team's 82 regular-season games during the 2017-18 season will be televised by the regional sports network. Of the 81 televised games, 74 will be carried on FOX Sports Carolinas, while seven will be carried on FOX Sports Carolinas' sister network, FOX Sports Southeast. In addition to the 81 games televised regionally by FOX Sports Carolinas and FOX Sports Southeast, Carolina's game at the Philadelphia Flyers on April 5 will be televised nationally.
All Hurricanes games televised on FOX Sports Carolinas and FOX Sports Southeast will also be available on FOX Sports GO (FOXSportsGo.com). For the 23rd consecutive season, John Forslund (@JohnForslund) will handle the Hurricanes' play-by-play duties for all Hurricanes games, and former professional goaltender Tripp Tracy (@CanesOnFSCR), who is entering his 19th season in the broadcast booth, will provide analysis. Each game broadcast will be preceded by the network's 30-minute pregame show, Hurricanes LIVE, hosted by Mike Maniscalco (@mikemaniscalco), who will return for his second season, alongside analyst and former Hurricanes player Shane Willis (@CanesOnFSCR), who will enter his fifth season on the show.
