Hurricanes Assign Seven to Charlotte

Training camp roster now at 33 players

RALEIGH, NC - Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has assigned seven players to the Charlotte Checkers (AHL).

Forwards Patrick Brown, Julien Gauthier and Andrew Miller; and defensemen Brenden Kichton, Roland McKeown, Dennis Robertson and Philip Samuelsson will join Charlotte, whose training camp begins on Monday.


The Hurricanes training camp roster is now at 33 players. Carolina will continue its three-game road trip on Monday against the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Place.
