After dropping consecutive games in double overtime, the Carolina Hurricanes return home looking to regain their First Round series advantage against the Nashville Predators.
Less than 48 hours after playing a game that lasted 94:54, the Canes found themselves in another double overtime adventure against the Predators. Brock McGinn tallied twice in regulation, but Luke Kunin scored his second goal of the game at the 16:10 mark of the second overtime to even the series at two games apiece for Nashville.

"If you watch that game, it's evident what makes us successful. We get in on the forecheck, start rumbling around, take pucks to the net," said Jordan Martinook, who posted a pair of assists. "It's a recipe for success. We're wearing them down. That's what we want to do. They're going to score goals, but we need to just stick with what we do and what makes us successful. That's all we need to do. We're right there."

Game 4 surpassed Game 3 as the second-longest playoff game in franchise history. 13: McGinn's second goal of Game 4, scored 13 seconds into the third period, is the fastest goal from the start of a period in franchise postseason history. 3:Jaccob Slavin has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury, and his status remains a game-time decision for Game 5. "I'm hopeful he'll try tomorrow," head coach Rod Brind'Amour said on Monday. "He'll tell us when he feels good."
