Jordan Martinook Bio

Selected by the Arizona Coyotes in the second round (No. 58) of the 2012 NHL Draft after two seasons with Vancouver of the Western Hockey League, Martinook made his NHL debut against the Boston Bruins on Dec. 6, 2014 and scored his first NHL goal against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Oct. 10, 2015.

Martinook played three full seasons with the Coyotes and had 25 points (11 goals, 14 assists) in 2016-17. He was traded to the Hurricanes, along with a fourth-round pick (center Luke Henman) in the 2018 NHL Draft, for forward Marcus Kruger and a third-round pick in 2018 (defenseman Ty Emberson) on May 3, 2018.
