Jarvis, 19, has posted 11 points (7g, 4a) in nine American Hockey League (AHL) games with Chicago this season and leads the AHL in scoring. He has played 130 career WHL games with Portland from 2017-20, tallying 139 points (58g, 81a). The 5'10", 175-pound forward received the 2019-20 Brad Hornung Trophy as the WHL's Most Sportsmanlike Player while ranking third in the WHL in goals (42), fifth in assists (56) and second in points (98) through 58 games last season. He registered a point in 45 of 58 games, including 28 multi-point games. The Winnipeg, Man., native was signed to a three-year, entry-level contract on Dec. 28, 2020, after being drafted by the Hurricanes in the first round, 13th overall, of the 2020 NHL Draft.
