On Monday, the Predators used a third-period rally and a shootout winner off the stick of Ryan Ellis to win the first part of their annual Fathers Trip. Tonight, they'll try for a perfect two-contest road swing and their first road winning streak of the season when they face the Devils.
New Jersey and Nashville met at Bridgestone Arena on Dec. 3, with the Devils scoring three goals in the third to even the game before winning in overtime. A second win in front of their dads would go a long way in helping the Predators forget the lead they let slip away to New Jersey earlier in the month.
After winning last night in Philadelphia, the Preds did not hold a morning skate on Tuesday. Defenseman P.K. Subban, who has an upper-body injury, did not play against the Flyers On Monday, Adam Pardy drew into the lineup for Subban, who is considered day-to-day with his current ailment.
