Bellerive-sidekick

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forwards Jordy Bellerive and Josh Currie to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by general manager Ron Hextall.

Bellerive, 21, has appeared in 12 games for WBS this season, scoring six goals, three assists and nine points. In 68 career AHL games, all with WBS, Bellerive has recorded 18 goals, 13 assists and 31 points.
Currie, 28, has suited up for nine games with WBS this year, picking up seven points (4G-3A) and serving as team captain. He has 22 games of NHL experience split between Pittsburgh and Edmonton, where he's tallied two goals, three assists for five points and was a plus-2.
The Penguins return to action tomorrow night as they conclude their five-game homestand at 7:00 p.m. against the New York Islanders.
