Crosby guentzel

Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby was named the NHL's First Star for the week ending October 28 after his league-high-tying five goals and seven points helped Pittsburgh wrap up a perfect 4-0 road trip through Canada.

Crosby's high-scoring week began on a high note when he scored his first goal of the season to open the scoring on October 23 at Edmonton. However he saved his best work for overtime, scoring a sensational tally that left the hockey community buzzing.
The Penguins followed up that dramatic finish in Edmonton by scoring the second-most goals the club has ever tallied in a road game two nights later as part of a 9-1 victory at Calgary. Eight players recorded multiple points against the Flames, paced by Crosby's three points (1G-2A).
Crosby and the Penguins completed their four-game, 12-day road trip on a high note, blanking the Vancouver Canucks by a 5-0 score on October 27. The Penguins' captain had two more tallies in the win.
Crosby has five goals, seven assists and 12 points in nine contests this season. His scoring spree helped the Penguins jump into the top spot of the Metropolitan Division thanks to a 6-1-2 record.
